Ridge couldn't careless about Hope or Deacon, so I don't see him welcoming Deacon's son with open arms..and give him or Hope a new fashion line. Besides, I would much prefer Hope and Deke go work for a new fashion house given Steffy had paused/killed HFTF already.

If he truly wants to express his love for Brooke, then he should treat HER DAUGHTER much better and apologize to HER daughter for the nasty vile disgusting names he called her. Besides, Deke isn't related to Brooke anyway..so what love really? Is Brooke planning on begging Ridge to hire Deke? JMO.

Would be nice but I think this is giving Ridge too much credit...I don´t think he will give Hope a line to work on, be it HFTF or a new one...and even if he really did, to please Brooke, hell will freeze all over before Ridge will apologize to Hope for the dirty names he called her.

Ridge couldn't careless about Hope or Deacon, so I don't see him welcoming Deacon's son with open arms..and give him or Hope a new fashion line. Besides, I would much prefer Hope and Deke go work for a new fashion house given Steffy had paused/killed HFTF already.
The new house is exactly what should have been Hope's story all these years when she was working closely with Thomas on HFTF. They were feeling belittled by Steffy and Ridge. They should have left FC and started a new fashion house to compete with FC. Bell had 5 years to write this obvious plot and it never happened. She could have done what with Carter even if he's not a designer but the writers made them steal the company instead. The last time a new house emerged was Spectra fashions, but the house vanished and all the characters disappeared less than 1 year later. I have very low expectations when it comes to fashion. Caroline died, Eric retired, RJ, Rick and Thorne are gone, Zende is on 1 episode every 2 months, Thomas' status is uncertain. Who is still designing for Ridge today except the invisible designers ? I don't know why Hope is still working in this hostile environment. The only designer who always defended her and put her career first left. Steffy refused to rehire her even after she learnt the truth about Carter and she only rehired her out of pity to please Liam. Ridge still doesn't really like her given how he talks about her to Carter.

I finally figured out who JM's daughter is. She was on Last Man Standing, I believe. She took over the role from another actress.
